Most wellness retreats ask you to choose between physical challenge and genuine restoration. The Coast Ridge does both. The experience is built around daily guided hiking on coastal trails — not as an optional activity, but as the foundation of the reset. Alongside the trail, every day includes plant-forward meals, yoga, and a full massage. The group is kept to 8 to 10 guests, the setting is a private coastal estate, and everything is all-inclusive. The result is something rarer than a spa day and more restorative than a fitness camp — a complete reset, grounded in nature.
-
Each day follows a restorative rhythm of movement, nourishment, and recovery . Morning tea at 5:30am is followed by sunrise yoga at 6am and a nourishing breakfast at 7am. Guided coastal hiking runs from 8am to 1:30pm, covering 8 to 10 miles on trails above the Pacific. Afternoons include a plant-forward lunch, massage, and optional strength movement. Evenings settle into restorative yoga, a seasonal dinner , and quiet time in the sauna or hot tub. Every detail is handled so guests can focus entirely on being present. The schedule and trails may shift with weather and trail conditions.
-
Many guests arrive at The Coast Ridge specifically to reset from burnout, chronic stress, or deep exhaustion. The combination of sustained movement in nature, nourishing plant-forward meals, daily massage, and complete disconnection from screens creates the conditions for a genuine reset. Guests consistently report steadier energy , improved sleep, and greater mental clarity by the end of the four days. This is not a quick fix; it's a real, physical, grounded reset designed to support lasting well-being. The Reboot is a wellness experience, not medical treatment, so if you're under a doctor's care, please check with them before booking.

The 4-Day Reboot is physically demanding, with daily hikes of 8 to 10 miles with elevation gain on varied terrain as a core part of the experience. The pace is steady and mindful, focusing on immersion in the landscape rather than speed. Trail variations are offered to suit different paces, but every variation is still hiking on varied terrain with elevation, and there is no non-hiking alternative.
-
You do not need to be an experienced hiker to attend The Coast Ridge, though some prior hiking is strongly suggested. Regular walks or hikes in the weeks before you arrive will help you enjoy the trail. The retreat is designed to be supportive rather than competitive, with a pace that prioritizes consistency over performance. Most guests adapt quickly and find themselves moving with more ease and confidence as the days progress.
-
The retreat is centered around hiking because consistent movement in nature is one of the most effective ways to reset the body and mind. Walking for extended periods helps regulate the nervous system, improve energy levels, and create space for mental clarity. At The Coast Ridge, the trail is not a backdrop to the experience — it is the experience itself.
-
Guests consistently report renewed strength, steadier energy, improved sleep, and greater mental clarity after the 4-Day Reboot — often describing it as the most effective reset they have experienced. As the days progress, the body grows stronger, and many guests are surprised — and encouraged — by how much they’re capable of. Time away from constant stimulation, combined with movement and nourishing food, allows the body to reset and the mind to regain perspective.
Every guest's experience is their own
